2020: Participated in both indoor and outdoor track as a freshman...ran a personal best for the indoor 200m (24.71) and 400m (56.24) at the 2020 Nike Invitational. 

High School Experience: Sprinted, threw javelin and pole vaulted four years on varsity at Crook County High for coach Ernie Brooks... As a freshman earned district placer for javelin and most inspirational... as a sophomore earned district champion for javelin, district placer for javelin, All-State for javelin, most inspirational and Penny Towne Award.... as a junior earned All-State for javelin, district placer for javelin and mist inspirational... as a senior earned All-State for javelin, All-State placer for javelin, district placer for javelin and SALT team leadership group... also played football and cross country... earned Defensive Player of the Year as a junior and senior, All-League Defense Honorable-Mention as a junior and Second-Team All-League as a senior.

Personal: Born on September 1... son of Wendy and Jim Slawter... enjoys fishing, collecting socks and hanging out with friends. majoring in biology.
