High School Experience: Varsity thrower for Colfax High as a junior and senior under coach Jason Cooper...held a career best 40.8 feet in the shot put and 113.8 in the Javelin...also played football, golf, and basketball for the Bulldogs...was a First-Team All-Conference selection as an offensive and defensive lineman as a sophomore, junior, and senior.
