2018-2019: XC - Ran in all six races for the Beacons and scored points in all six. Set a new personal record (25:49) at the Charles Bowles Invite...took 35th at the CCC Championship. TRACK - Ran 800m events and 4x400m relays...set a new 800m PR at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic (1:57.58)...qualified for the CCC championships in the 800m where he finished tenth...earned Academic All-CCC honors and was an NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete.

2017-2018: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in five races during sophomore season...set a new PR of 26:27 at the Charles Bowles Invitational. TRACK - Ran 800m and 1500m events...set a new 800m PR of 1:57.74 at the CCC championships, taking ninth place...named the Men's Track & Field Most Improved Athlete.  

2016-2017: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in five races for the Beacons as a freshman, scoring points four times...set a personal best 26:40 at the Inland Empire Challenge. TRACK - Ran 800m and 1500m events for the Beacons...set a PR of 2:07.04 in the 800m at the Lane Preview...hit a 4:18.15 in the 1500m at the Pacific Preview. 

High School Experience: Ran four years at Alexander High. 

Personal: Born in Laredo, Texas...birthday is May 31...son of Maria and Osca Martinez...majoring in Accounting.
