After a seven-year absence from the program, Chris Polski returns to Bushnell ahead of the 2026-2027 season as the Player Development Coach for the men's and women's golf programs.
Polski previously served as the Associate Head Coach for the Beacon men's golf team during the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 seasons.
Polski has been involved in the local golf community for nearly two decades, and has been a club professional and golf instructor at multiple courses. Polski served as an assistant pro at Westin Mission Hills in Palm Desert, California is currently the Head Golf Instructor at Pine Ridge Golf Club.Â
Coach Polski is a highly decorated player in his own right. He has claimed numerous tournament victories on both professional and amateur circuits including a 2015 victory at the Southern Oregon Golf Championships.Â
In 2009, Polski was a member of the USGA Oregon State Team and was named Oregon Golf Association Player of the Year. He holds course records at three Eugene courses; Oakway Golf Course, Emerald Valley Golf Club, and Shadow Hills Country Club, site of the Web.com Oregon Classic. The local product prepped at Sheldon High School where he led the Irish to the 2005 Oregon State Championship.Â
