2015: Ran in five races as a sophomore...set a season best 29:44 at the NCU Invitational.
2014-2015: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in five races for the Beacons as a freshman...established a personal record with a 29:06 finish in the CCC Championship, taking 69th place. TRACK - Ran 800m and 1500m events for NCU...posted a season-best 2:05.88 in the 800m at the Titan Twilight...hit a season best 4:31.05 in the 1500m at the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open.
High School Experience: ran four years of track & field at Creswell High for coach Larry Powell...hit a PR of 4:36 in the 1500m and 2:04 in the 800m...also played football and basketball for the Bulldogs.
Personal: Born on January 17, 1995 in Salt Lake City, Utah...son of Nicole and John Fortner...enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking...aspires to become a physical therapist...majoring in exercise science.
