2015: Ran the 800m and 1500m as a senior...set a personal-best in the 1500 at the Titan Twilight with a time of 4:16.55 to finish 11th. 

2014: Ran in two races as a senior...set a season-best 29:16 at the NCU-OIT Dual...earned Academic All-CCC honors.

2013-2014: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in six events for the Beacons as a junior...set a new personal record at 27:48 at the NCU-OIT Dual Meet...took 57th at the CCC Championship...Earned Academic All-CCC honors. TRACK - Ran 800m and 1500m events...Ran a season-best 2:03.28 in the 800m at the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open...ran a personal best 4:22.75 in the 1500m at the Lane Preview...Earned Academic All-CCC honors.

2012-2013: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in all six races for the Beacons during his sophomore season...set a new personal record with a 28:41 at the Beaver Classic...took 70th at the CCC Championship...Earned Academic All-CCC honors. TRACK - Ran the 800m and 1500m events...set a season best in the 800m on April 25th at the Titan Twilight, running a 2:02.80...ran a 4:30.81 in the 1500m at the Linfield Icebreaker on March 2nd. Earned Academic All-CCC honors.

2011-2012: Ran in five races for the Beacons as a freshman...scored points for NCU in the CCC Preview meet on September 17th, taking 48th place...ran a season-best 28:59 at the Willamette Invitational on October 1st.

High School Experience: Ran four years of track and cross country at Thurston High for coach Nick Wing...named Rookie of the Year as a freshman...finished eighth in the Midwestern League as a senior...also played basketball for the Colts.

Personal: Born on September 22, 1992 in Springfield, Ore...son of Maritza Sanchez-Torres and Nestor Torres...enjoys playing basketball...majoring in exercise science.
