2018: Ran in six races as a senior...set a personal-record with a time of 25:38 at the NAIA Championship...named Academic All-CCC honors.

2017-2018: CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in all six races as a junior, scoring points in all six...set a personal record 26:10 at the Charles Bowles Invitational. TRACK - Ran various distances in the spring and set new personal records in the 800m, mile, and 3000m Steeplechase...qualified for conference in the steeple and set a new PR at CCC with a 9:47.43, taking sixth-place. 

2016-2017: CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in five races for the Beacons during sophmore season...registered a new personal best 26:27 at the Inland Empire Challenge...scored points for NCU in all five races. TRACK & FIELD: Competed in the 1500m and 3000m Steeplechase...qualified for conference in the Steeplechase...registered a career-best 9:47.88 at the Oregon State High Performance Meet.

2015-2016: CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in six races for the Beacons as a freshman...hit a personal best 26:35 at the Inland Empire Classic on October 17. TRACK & FIELD: Competed in six meets, running 800m, 1500m, mile, and steeplechase races...registered a season-best 9:55.18 in the steeplechase at the Titan Twilight...took sixth place in the steeple at the CCC Championships. 

High School Experience: Ran four years at North Medford High for coach Pete Voskes...earned Most Improved as a sophomore...won the "True Grit" Award as a junior...named team MVP after senior season...also played Hockey for the Black Tornadoes.

Personal: Born in Hood River, Oregon...birthday is December 2...son of Tyrene and Donald Covey...enjoys gaming and anything outdoors...plays the drums...aspires to become a physical therapist or athletic trainer...majoring in exercise science.
