2013-2014: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in all seven races for the Beacons as a junior...led the team in four races...established a personal best of 25:57 at the Beaver Classic...took 17th at the CCC Championship and qualified for the NAIA National Championship...ran a 26:11 at the NAIA Championship to claim 130th place...named Most Inspirational. TRACK - Ran 5000m and 10000m events for NCU, qualifying for CCC Championships in both...set an NCU season best of 15:15.46 at the Lane Preview, missing a school-record inthe 5000m by three seconds...broke the NCU 10000m record with a 31:52.29 run at the John Knight Twilight.

Previous Collegiate Experience: Ran two years at Garden City Community College for coach Dan Delgado...was a two-time NJCAA All-American...qualified for nationals in track as a sophomore..

High School: Ran three years of cross country and four years of track at Hayden HS...CROSS COUNTRY: was a two-time regional champion...earned All-State honors twice...finished third at state as a senior...won 11 races as a prep...TRACK: won the state championship in both the 1600m and 3200m runs...also played football for the Tigers as a freshman. 

Personal: Born March 30, 1993 in Dallas, Texas...son of Lisa and Doug Zirkle...enjoys playing Super Smash Bros and Ping Pong...loves the outdoors...majoring in math.
