2011: Ran in six races for the Beacons as a freshman...scored in all six races and led the team once...took third place and was the top collegiate finisher at the Willamette Invitational on October 1st, running a school-record 17:36..named CCC Runner of the Week on October 3rd...named NAIA National Runner of the Week on October 4th...had four top-ten finishes...took third at CCC Preview on September 17th...ran in 60th place at the NAIA National Championship (19:02).

High School Experience: Ran four years of track and cross country at Brookings Harbor High for coach Terry Axel...named team captain three times and was a four-time team MVP in cross country...won the Far West League district championship as a freshman and senior...was a two-time First-Team All-State selection, finishing 2nd in the state as a senior...named the Student Athlete of the Year as a junior and senior...holds school track records for th 1500m and 3000m...also played basketball and soccer for the Bruins and was named First-Team All-League in soccer as a junior.
