2011: Made a career-high 18 appearances as a junior, including 11 starts...collected two wins, two complete games and one save...held a 3.99 ERA...struck out 26 batters in 59.2 innings.

2010: Made 14 appearances for the Beacons...led the team with a 2.45 ERA...struck out nine batters in 40 innings...started four games and went 4-3.

2009: Made 14 appearances in the circle, all starts...had four complete games including one shutout...had a 3.38 ERA and collected 23 strikeouts in 60 innings.

High School Experience: Played three years on varsity at Santiam Christian High...earned First-Team All-PacWest Conference and First-Team All-State honors as a senior...averaged 13 strikeouts per game and had a 1.31 ERA...also played volleyball for the Eagles.

Personal: Born on April 28, 1990 in Albany, Ore...daughter of Barbara and Tony Koontz...enjoys reading and ranching...favorite band is Third Day...favorite movie is Remember the Titans...favorite TV show is House...aspires to become a high school teacher and a coach who is respected by her students and players...majoring in secondary education with an emphasis in social studies.
