CCC Players of the Week - April 27, 2026

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Freshman DJ Kauahi was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference McDonalds Baseball Pitcher of the Week as Presented by Urban Edge Network, announced by the CCC office on Monday.
 
Kauahi had a spectacular performance against the University of British Columbia on Friday, throwing just the third complete game in Beacon baseball history and lifting Bushnell to their first ever win in Canada.
 
Making his fifth collegiate start, Kauahi threw 114 pitches in nine innings of work, allowed just one earned run and scattered seven hits. He had runners in scoring position in five different innings, but worked out of the jam every time, helping Bushnell claim their first ever win north of the border in 20 tries, including 18 against the Thunderbirds.
 
The win also kept UBC from clinching home-field advantage in the CCC tournament.
 
Marshall earns the sixth CCC Player of the Week for Bushnell Baseball this season.
 
UP NEXT: Bushnell earned the No. 4-seed for the CCC tournament and will face off against No. 5-seed Oregon Tech on Friday morning at 11:00 am in Lewiston, Idaho.
