Bushnell Esports: Weekly Recap

EUGENE, Ore.  –  Bushnell Esports continued the spring esports season with competition in FC 26, Fortnite, College Football, Madden and Rocket League.
 
The week was highlighted by a third win in FC from Andy Bennett and the highest scoring total of the season for Fortnite in Zero Build.
 
FC 26
Match 4: Bushnell 2, Dallas Baptist 0 (7-3, 7-4)
 
Manchester City 7, Bayern Munich 3

Andrew Bennett is just one win away from a postseason spot after his third win of the season on Monday. In the ECAC, four wins earns you a spot in the play-in tournament, while five wins guarantees a playoff game.
 
FC 26 is played every Monday at 5:00 p.m.
 
FORTNITE
Zero Build: LEADERBOARD
Build: LEADERBOARD
 
Fortnite will compete in a seven-week zero build duos regular season, playing three matches every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Points are earned based on placement and eliminations. At the end of the regular season, the top 25 teams with the most points over the seven weeks will move to Finals. The teams in places 26th-75th will move into the Semi-Finals where the top 25 will move to the Finals.
 
The duos competing for the Beacons are Nathan Farris/Nick McGowen (Zero Build) and Trent Parks/Shawn Petty (Build).  
 
Week 1: McGowen/Farris (119 points, 24th)

Week 2: McGowen/Farris (126 points, 18th)
Week 2: Parks/Petty (14 points, 62nd)
Week 3: McGowen/Farris (128 points, 18th)

Mason Monrroy continues to play matches that come down to the wire, but the early deficits were too much to overcome in week four. 
 
College Football is played every Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
 
MADDEN 26
 
Match 4 (Hoerauf): Southern University 2, Bushnell 0 (41-30, 56-24)
 
Bills 41, Lions 30
Patriots 56, Lions 24
 
Caden Hoerauf dropped to 2-2 on the spring season following a loss to Southern University.
 
Madden is played every Thursday at 5:00 p.m.
 
ROCKET LEAGUE
Northern Arizona 4, Bushnell 0 (7-0, 3-2, 5-0, 2-1)
University of British Columbia 4, Bushnell 0 (9-1, 4-1, 1-0, 4-1)
 
Rocket League is competing in the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) this semester and was placed in Division III: West-Central A. Bushnell was swept by Northern Arizona University and the University of British on Columbia on Wednesday, dropping to 0-4 in their division.    
 
The Beacons have three games to go in the regular season.
