Beacons Run-In to Fourth at Oregon Tech Event

Final Results

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.
– The third-best round in school history help the Bushnell women's golf team climb one spot to finish fourth at the Run-In at the Ranch on Tuesday.
 
The Beacons shot a 328 as a team, allowing them to leap over Simpson University in the final standings with a two-round score of 686. Host Oregon Tech won the tournament with a two-day total of 604. Bushnell ended up four strokes ahead of the Redhawks as well as 20 shots better than Corban University.
 
Bushnell was led by Hailey Smith (87-81—168), finishing in 16th place. Jaylee Hix (88-82—170) followed in 18th and Kylee Smith (90-81—171) took 20th.
 
Jada Richwine (pictured, 93-84—177) moved up five spots to finish in 23rd place and Morgan Schlesinger (93-88—181) followed in 29th.
 
UP NEXT: The Beacons return to action this weekend, traveling to west to take part in the Coastal Collegiate Classic, hosted by Corban at Salishan Golf Resort.
