Bushnell Women's Golf Takes Sixth

RESULTS

EAGLE POINT, Ore. – Bushnell took sixth place at the Southern Oregon Invitational, wrapping up play at Stone Ridge Golf Course on Tuesday.
 
The Beacons shot a 351 in Tuesday's second round, scoring a 691 for the event as they defeated Corban University by ten strokes. Bushnell fell ten strokes behind The College of Idaho in fourth. National powerhouse UBC shot a combined team total of just four-over par (580) to defeat second-place Oregon Tech by 49 shots.  
 
Kylee Smith led the way for the Beacons individually, taking 17th place (81-83—164). Jada Richwine was 27th (84-90—174), Hailey Smith followed in 29th (84-92—176), and Morgan Schlesinger was 31st (91-86—177). Grace Wetherup also competed for the Beacons, taking 42nd.
 
UBC held the top five individual places, led by Grace Bell who shot a four-under 68 in the second round to defeat day-one leader Sienna Harder by one stroke.  
 
The Beacons close out the season on April 21-22 at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship, taking place in Portland at Glendoveer Golf Course.
