EUGENE, Ore. – Bushnell Esports continued the spring season, earning wins in Rocket League and Madden, while having consistent performances in Teamfight Tactics and Fortnite.
SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE (SSBU)
Match 4: Concordia Texas 2, Bushnell 0 (12-6, 12-6)
The format of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (SSBU) is 4v4 Crew Battles. Teams are assigned opponents of similar records each week and play a best-of-three series.
Bushnell dropped to 1-3 on Monday night, falling to Concordia University Texas. They have a bye in week five, but will be back in action on Monday, March 3.
TEAMFIGHT TACTICS (TFT)
Week 4: Claunch (4th), Farris (37th)
Zack Claunch was placed into the top division (Division A) of competition, while
Nathan Farris will compete in Division B. Every Monday, Claunch and Farris will play two matches, competing in an eight-way free-for-all format. The top 16 teams from each division will advance to the playoffs.
Claunch placed second in both his second week matches to maintain his position among the top 10 on the Division A leaderboard. He has had a top four finish in seven of eight games. Farris dropped to 37
th on the Division B leaderboard, but eight points separate him from a top-16 spot.
FC 25
Match 4: Bushnell 2, Caldwell University 0 (6-0, 5-3)
Andrew Bennett cruised to a week four victory over Caldwell University to improve to 2-2 on the season. There are 131 teams competing in the spring. Bennett will be assigned an opponent of similar record each week.
ROCKET LEAGUE
Match 3: Bushnell 4, Waynesburg 2 (3-2, 0-1, 2-0, 2-3, 5-4, 3-2)
Isaac Wagner,
Brec Feehan and
Kyle Foss are competing in Division A, the second highest level of competition in the ECAC. They will play a six-game regular season, playing a best-of-seven series each week. The top 4 teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.
The Beacons won their third consecutive game, defeating Waynesburg University on the ECAC broadcast. Up next, a week four match against Kean University (2-1) on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
NBA 2K
Match 4: Cumberland 2, Bushnell 0
Mason Monrroy dropped his fourth-week match to Cumberland University on Tuesday night.
Monrroy will be assigned an opponent of a similar record each week, playing a best-of-three series every Tuesday. There are 69 colleges participating in the spring.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL
Match 4 (Hoerauf): Lakeland 2, Bushnell 0
Caden Hoerauf and
Mason Monrroy will represent the Beacons in their inaugural College Football season. They will be assigned opponents of similar records each week, playing a best-of-three series. There are 54 colleges participating in the spring.
Hoerauf moved to 1-3 after falling to Lakeland University on Wednesday night. Monrroy has not played his fourth match.
MADDEN
Match 4: Bushnell 1, Central Maine CC 0 (27-12)
Caden Hoerauf represents Bushnell in Madden. He will be assigned an opponent of a similar record each week, playing a best-of-three series every Thursday night. There are 80 colleges participating in the spring.
Hoerauf earned his second win of the spring, defeating Central Maine CC on Thursday. His opponent left the game with two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and did not return for game two.
FORTNITE
Week 3: Gold (318 points, 38th), Blue (116 points, 85th), White (54 points, 106th)
Fortnite will compete in a seven-week zero build duos regular season, playing three matches each week. Points are earned based on placement and eliminations. At the end of the regular season, the top 50 teams on the leaderboard will advance to the playoffs.

Dulce Ramirez-Ramos (White). Farris and McGowen currently hold a spot in the postseason with three weeks to play in the regular season. Bolanos/Cazares held the same spot in the standings as last week, while Reposa/Ramirez-Ramos dropped slightly.
