GLENEDEN BEACH, Ore. – The Bushnell women's golf team made history on Sunday, claiming a 43-stroke victory to win the 2025 Coastal Collegiate Classic, hosted by Corban University at Salishan Golf Resort.

The win was Bushnell's first team victory in school history in a tournament featuring at least three teams. They had previously been victorious in a dual on three separate occasions. Â

The Beacons scored a combined 341-348—689 in the event, easily out-pacing second-place Simpson University (732) and third-place Bellevue College (735). Host Corban fielded two teams, which finished in fourth (737) and fifth (863). Â

Bushnell boasted four of the top-seven individual finishes in the event, led by a second-place result for junior
Jada Richwine (83-85—168).
Morgan Schlesinger (85-87—172) and
Kylee Smith (88-84—172) tied for fourth place while
Hailey Smith (85-92—177) took seventh.

UP NEXT: The Beacons will travel to Caldwell, Idaho on October 13-14 for the final CCC tournament of the fall, competing at Timberstone Golf Course in the College of Idaho Invitational. Â Â
