CALDWELL, Idaho – The Bushnell women's golf team had their first-ever recorded Hole-in-One in competition on Tuesday, courtesy of
Morgan Schlesinger in the second round of the College of Idaho Invitational, taking place at Timberstone Golf Course.

Schlesinger's moment came on the 168-yard 17
th-hole, the first Ace of her career. It was part of a second-round 88 as the sophomore finished the tournament in 28
th place with a two-round 85-89—174.

As a team, Bushnell finished in sixth place with a 689, well ahead of Walla Walla University (717) in seventh. British Columbia shot a 597 as a team to finish with a commanding 35-stroke victory over Oregon Tech (632). The College of Idaho (642) and LC State (642) tied for fourth, and Southern Oregon (658) finished fifth, 31 shots ahead of the Beacons.

Kylee Smith led the way for the Beacons, jumping up seven spots after the second round as she fired an 84-80—164 to tie for 15
th-place. Twin-sister
Hailey Smith (89-84—173) took 27
th, followed by Schlesinger in 28
th and
Jaylee Hix (90-88—178) in 32
nd.
Jada Richwine (95-91—186) took 39
th.
UP NEXT: The Beacons are set to hit the road to close out the fall half of the schedule on November 3-5, traveling to the Firestorm Fall Invitational, hosted by Arizona Christian University at Verrado Golf Club. Â
