SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The Bushnell women's golf team posted the second-best two-round score in school history on Tuesday as they hosted the Bushnell Fall Invitational at Pine Ridge Golf Course.

The Beacons finished with a 343-341—683 to match a score from 2010 as the second-best 36-hole tournament in school history. Bushnell was just four strokes shy of a new record.

The score was good enough to tie for fifth in the CCC-opening tournament and was the first regular-season team score in the books since 2021. They tied with Walla Walla University and were 16 shots behind fourth-place Southern Oregon University.

Leading the way for the Beacons was freshman
Hailey Smith, making a strong debut with an 81-84—165 to take ninth place. Smith had two birdies in Monday's opening round.
