EUGENE, Ore. – Pulling away with a 21-6 second quarter, the Bushnell women's basketball team secured their most convincing win of the season on Saturday, taking care of Warner Pacific University in Cascade Collegiate Conference action, 67-46.

The Beacons (3-4, 2-0 CCC) shot 44% in the game, and out-rebounded the Knights 38-31 with 14 offensive boards. Bushnell scored 19 points off of 21 WPU turnovers, and pulled out a 29-13 margin in bench scoring.

Libby Mathis led all players with 17 points, shooting 7-for-8 from the field and adding five rebounds and two blocks.
Ellis Mastel (pictured) came off the bench to add 13 points and seven rebounds on 6-for-9 shooting as the Beacons held a 34-18 lead on points in the paint. After her double-double on Friday,
Ayden Krupke scored another 13 points, adding five rebounds and five assists with all five coming on passes into Mathis in the post.

Warner Pacific (3-4, 0-3) was led by Amalya Sales who was the only Knight in double-figures, scoring 11. Alex Saunders added nine points while Alexa Mee posted seven points and a game-high eight rebounds.

The Beacons return to action next Friday night, traveling to Salem to take on Corban University (4-4, 2-0) in Cascade Collegiate Conference action at 5:30 pm. Â
