2024 NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches Top 25 Rating - No. 4
EUGENE, Ore. –  For the second straight poll, the Bushnell volleyball team is receiving votes in the NAIA Coaches Top-25 Rating, and they added points bringing them to the cusp of the top-25.
Â
Bushnell has won four-of-five since the last ranking, with only a four-set loss to then-No. 8 Corban. After earning 24 points in the last poll, Bushnell nearly tripled that total to 67 and are sitting just two spots and 34 points outside of the Top-25.
Â
The Beacons have put together an impressive resume so far this season. Bushnell is 15-7 on the year and among their six losses are four to teams ranked in the NAIA's Top-9. The Beacons also have wins against No. 22 The College of Idaho and (RV) Carroll and they pushed undefeated No. 1 Northwestern to five sets earlier this season.
Â
The Beacons are currently sitting alone in fourth-place in the Cascade Conference with a 10-4 record, one and half game ahead of the No. 22 Yotes. All three teams ahead of them are ranked in the NAIA Top-Ten, led by No. 4 Eastern Oregon, followed by No. 5 Southern Oregon and No. 9 Corban.
Â
It will be a big weekend ahead for the Beacons to make an impression on the voters and the NAIA national selection committee as they hit the road to face off against No. 22 College of Idaho on Friday and No. 4 Eastern Oregon on Saturday.
