KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. –
Corinne Lillywhite made her official debut for Bushnell women's golf at the Oregon Tech Fall Invitational, taking 11th-place at Running Y.
Lillywhite shot an 81-77—158, posting the seventh-best tournament in Bushnell history and the best in over two years.
Bushnell matched their two-round score of 683 that they accomplished at the Bushnell Fall Invitational back in September, tying the second-best tournament total in school history once again. The Beacons took 6th-place as a team, easily out-pacing Lewis & Clark College by 39 strokes.
Jada Richwine tied for 26th-place for the Beacons with an 84-88—172 and was closely followed by
Kylee Smith (90-83—173) in 28th.
Hailey Smith took 35th (89-94—183) and
Morgan Schlesinger was 37ths (87-97—184) to round out the team scoring.
Grace Wetherup competed as an individual, shooting a 103-103—206 to take 43rd.
No. 21 Oregon Tech won their own tournament by 18 shots, shooting a 610 to defeat Menlo College (628). The College of Idaho was the next-best team from the Cascade Conference in fourth place (657).
The Beacons will return to action next week as they travel to Solvang, California for the Dutch Classic, hosted by The Master's College at Alisal Ranch Golf Course.
