Aubin, Richwine Make Second Round Improvements at Warrior Invite

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The Bushnell University women's golf team wrapped up the Warrior Fall Invitational, a Cascade Collegiate Conference event hosted by Corban University at the Pine Ridge Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.
 
Both Beacon women had significant improvements in the second round, led by an 84 from Analise Aubin. Aubin finished in a three-way tie for 22nd with a 98-84—182 in the two-round event.
 
Jada Richwine recorded a 107-99—206 for 28th place.
 
Abigail Chow of the University of British Columbia carded a 76-76—152 to earn individual medalist honors. Madie Hepner (77-78—155) of Oregon Tech took second, while Kaylee Jones of the College of Idaho, Kyla Currie of Lewis-Clark State and Cameron Spellman of Walla Walla posted identical scores of 79-78—157 to tie for third.
 
The University of British Columbia (650), ranked No. 1 in the NAIA, won the team title by just two strokes. Lewis-Clark State (652) finished second, while Oregon Tech (658) took third.
 
Up next, Bushnell competes at The Master's Dutch Classic in Solvang, Calif. on Oct. 9-10.
