SALEM, Ore. – Analise Aubin took second place in her first tournament of the spring, finishing with an 82-93—175 at the Willamette Valley Cup, hosted at the Creekside Golf Club.
 
Haley Brown (85-79—164) of Southern Oregon University won the tournament. Aubin, competing as an individual, led the 22-competitor field after round one, but Brown's 79 in round two gave her the decisive victory.
 
Director of Golf Larry Watts said, "I am really proud of the way Analise continued to fight all through the round today. It had been a long time since she competed."
 
Three schools fielded complete teams, including the Raiders, who won the event with a team score of 710. Pacific University (726) placed second, while the University of Puget Sound (760) took third.
