SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The Oregon Tech men's soccer team played their way into a tie for second-place in the Cascade Collegiate Conference on Saturday as they knocked off Bushnell, 4-0.

The Owls (10-1-3, 9-1-1 CCC) held a slight 14-11 edge in shot-attempts on Saturday, but owned a 9-1 margin in shots-on-goal, finishing one effort in the first half before pulling away with three second-half strikes.

Bushnell (4-12-1, 2-10) was led by three shot attempts apiece from
Kyle Aure and
Caleb Burke.
Diego Montes Carrera picked up three saves between the pipes while other players accounted for two team saves.

Joao Ehlers said, "We had a good first half where we were able to match the physicality of our opponent. However, we paid a high price for collective mistakes in the second half. We look forward to getting better during the week and preparing for another tough match against Corban on Saturday."

The Beacons will wrap up their 2022 season next Saturday night as they play host to Corban University for senior night at 7:00 pm.
