SOLVANG, Calif. – The Bushnell University women's golf team competed in their first tournament of the season, the TMU Danish Classic, hosted by The Master's University on Tuesday and Wednesday.
 
Director of Golf Larry Watts said, "Alisal Ranch was a fun course to play. Playing out of conference was a positive experience for the team and I think they took a step up in maturity."

Analise Aubin secured a top-20 finish, recording an 84-86—170 for 17^th-place. Melody Garcia cut six strokes off her day one score, finishing at 109-103—212 for 32^nd-place.
 
Jessica Burdick of William Jessup won the event, shooting a 74-73—147 (+3). Hannah Ulibarri (77-72—149) of The Master's took second and Catherine Batang (77-74—151) of Menlo finished third.
 
Up next, the Beacons host the Bushnell Tall Timbers Invitational, taking place at the Eugene Country Club (Oct. 24) and Tokatee Golf Club (Oct. 25).
