PORTLAND, Ore. – Warner Pacific University came away with a decisive 81-58 victory over visiting Bushnell University behind Courtney Jackson's 28 points in Saturday's Cascade Collegiate Conference women's basketball contest.
Â
Bushnell (4-4, 2-1 CCC) trailed by one at the break before the Knights outscored the Beacons 47-25 in the closing two quarters.

Head Coach
Chad Meadors said, "Credit to Warner Pacific for being tougher and more physical than we were tonight. As a result, we weren't able to be consistent and weren't tough enough physically. They found some weaknesses in the third quarter and exploited them. They pushed us around, got every rebound, every 50-50 ball and beat us to spots."
Â
Kalina Rojas (pictured) led the Beacons with 17 points and six rebounds, shooting 6-for-10 from the floor.
Morgan McKinney added 13 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Sarah Reinecker shot 4-for-9 from three, finishing with 12 points on the game.
Â
Warner Pacific (4-2, 3-0 CCC) scored 27 points off turnovers, finished with a 40-31 advantage in rebounds and secured 20 second-chance points. Jackson led the way for the Knights, shooting 12-for-18 from the field. Kylie Guelsdorf posted a double-double, recording 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Â
"We've got to find some answers consistency wise," said Meadors. "Fortunately, it's a marathon and we've got some work to do."
Â
Bushnell will return to action on December 11 to take on the University of Nevada in an exhibition game at the Lawlor Events Center.
