CRESWELL, Ore. – Junior Cassidy Krauss tied for fourth place on Monday to lead the Bushnell University women's golf team at the Bushnell Fall Invitational, taking place at Emerald Valley Golf Course.

Krauss shot a 79, the second-lowest round of her career, to place in a three-way tie for fourth as the Beacons claimed third-place in the tournament.

Oregon Tech won the event with a team score of 314, followed by Corban (333) and Bushnell (336). The Beacons might have finished third, but they matched the third-best team score in school history.

Junior Fernanda Gardea also claimed a top-ten finish, taking tenth-place as she shot a personal-record 84. Senior Kelsie Hellwege followed in 11th at 85.

Carli Brousseau added an 88 while red-shirt freshman Samantha May made her golf debut with a 102.

With the Bushnell Invite closing out the fall, the Beacons will be back in action in early March 2021.
