Portland, Ore. – Warner Pacific University claimed a 5-0 win on Saturday night in Cascade Collegiate Conference men's soccer action, holding Northwest Christian University to just two shot attempts.
 
Delayed over an hour due to lightning, the Beacons never got anything going offensively and struggled to stop the Knights on the other end as they were out-shot 23-2.
 
WPU scored three goals in the first-half and added a pair in the second to hand NCU their worst CCC loss since 2014.
 
The Beacons (2-3, 2-2 CCC) will aim to show that Saturday's contest was just a blip, heading back out onto the pitch on Friday, October 4 against The Evergreen State College (3-5, 1-3) in Olympia, Washington. The opening whistle is set for 1:00 pm.
