                     COMPLETE RESULTS
EAGLE POINT, Ore.  – The Northwest Christian University women's golf team started off the spring season this weekend, taking fifth place at the Oregon Tech Spring Invitational, a non-conference tournament taking place at Eagle Point Golf Course.
 
Sophomore 
Kelsie Hellwege led the way for the Beacons, posting a two-round total of 170 to claim part of a three-way tie for tenth place. She had an 81 in Saturday's opening round, giving her the third best round for a Beacon this season.
 
Cassidy Krauss followed in 17th (91-86—177) while 
Carli Brousseau, 
Stella Reaka, and 
Fernanda Gardea were 26th, 27th, and 28th respectively.
 
Oregon Tech won their event going away, posting a 622 over two rounds. Corban was second at 680. The Beacons scored a 747 and defeated The College of Idaho by 64 shots.
 
The Beacons will return to action on April 1 and 2 when they host the NCU Spring Invitational at Emerald Valley Golf Course.
