EUGENE, Ore. – Scoring a goal in the second minute of the first half and third minute of the second, senior
Nicolas Schapochnik made his final game in a Beacon jersey count as NCU knocked off Walla Walla on Sunday afternoon, 4-1.

Just 109 seconds into the game,
Oswaldo Ramirez sent a pass into the box that Schapochnik fired home for an early lead. Then, with just 45 seconds remaining in the first half,
Jovany Sanchez connected on what would become the game-winner, taking a slotted pass from
Akiva Wickramaratna and taking it the rest of the way.

Schapochnik gave the home team a 3-0 lead in the 48th minute but just three minutes later the Wolves found their way onto the scoreboard as Emmett Semple hit the back of the net off a cross from Pedro Reyes.

Andrew Mitchell gave the Beacons some added insurance in the 76th minute, taking a feed from
Paul Zarkin and beating the keeper one-on-one.

The Beacons (3-11, 3-10 CCC) out-shot the Wolves 19-11 in the contest and posted their highest scoring output of the season. Senior
Julian Hernandez made two saves in his final collegiate game. Walla Walla's year came to a close with a 3-15 record, going 1-12 in the CCC.
