                     CRESWELL, Ore. – The Northwest Christian University women's golf team closed out their fall season on Sunday, taking fourth-place at the NCU Invitational at Emerald Valley Golf Club. Sophomore 
Cassidy Krauss led NCU with a tenth-place finish.
 
NCU scored a team 702, finishing 20 shots behind Corban who rallied from behind on Saturday to claim third-place at 682. The University of Victoria won the event going away, firing a 620 to claim a 24-stroke victory over Fraser Valley.
 
Krauss was tenth (83-84—167) followed by 
Kelsie Hellwege in 12th (81-90—171) and 
Carli Brousseau in 18th (84-99—183). Also golfing for the Beacons were 
Stella Reaka in 20th (92-92—184) and 
Fernanda Gardea in 24th (94-96—190).
 
Northwest Christian University will return to action in the spring, kicking off at the Oregon Tech Spring Invitational on March 7.
