KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – With only the host teams ahead of them, the NCU women's golf team took third-place this week in the Oregon Tech Fall Invitational, closing out the fall schedule on a high note.

The Beacons finished the event with a two-round score of 710, clearing fourth-place Vanguard University by 12 strokes. Oregon Tech's A team cruised to the team title with a 597 while their B team claimed second place as well (658).

Sophomore
Kelsie Hellwege tied a season-low with her opening round 80 and finish 13th to lead the Beacons (80-90—170). Just three shots back was freshman
Cassidy Krauss who took 15th (89-84—173).

Hannah Bude (pictured) finished 22nd for the Beacons and took ten strokes off between Monday and Tuesday's rounds, firing a season-best 88 on Tuesday.
Keri Schwarz was the next NCU finisher at 24 (95-93—188).

The Beacons will resume the 2018-2019 season in exactly five months when they head to Eagle Point for OIT's Spring Invitational on March 9th and 10th.
