CALDWELL, Idaho. – The College of Idaho scored three goals early in the second half to break open a scoreless game, settling for a 4-1 victory over NCU in Cascade Conference Men's Soccer action on Friday afternoon.

The Yotes  (3-5-2, 2-5-1 CCC) out-shot the Beacons, 16-7 including an 11 to 3 lead in the second half. C of I played the final 19 minutes with a man advantage after
Ethan Ferguson was flagged with a red card.

The highlight for NCU came just six minutes later when, despite playing a man down, NCU finally got on the scoreboard. Luiz Diaz scored his first goal of the season as his strike from ten yards out blasted through the Yote keeper's legs and into the back of the net.

The Beacons (2-9-1, 1-6-1), in the midst of a seven-game stretch away from home, will travel to Billings, Montana on Sunday to take on No. 11 Rocky Mountain College at 2:30 pm MST.
