EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon Tech, ranked No. 22 in the latest NAIA Coaches' Poll, completed a four-game weekend sweep of Northwest Christian University on Saturday, collecting 35 hits as they won 13-5 and 14-2.

GAME ONE
Â
The Owls posted 18 hits in the morning contest, including a 4-for-5 game for Tara Moates who had four doubles, scored three runs and owned a pair of RBI.

With OIT leading 1-0, the Beacons ran starting pitcher Ali Graham from the circle with a three-run second inning. The Owls added a run in the third and tied the game in the fourth. A five-run fifth gave them the lead for good.

The Beacons managed to get two runs back in the sixth, making it an 8-5 game, but the Owls posted another five runs in the seventh inning to pull away.

Sydney Scott went 3-for-5 in the win as six different players had multiple hits for Oregon Tech.
Ereanna Higbee batted 3-for-4 for the Beacons while Avery Daniles and
Madi Novelli each grabbed a pair of hits.

Loryn Williams (6-5) got the win in relief for Oregon Tech allowing one earned run on five hits in 4.2 innings. Kelly Scott threw the final 1.1 innings to pick up her second save of the season.
Katie Walker (2-12) took the loss for the Beacons, allowing four earned runs and striking out two batters before coming out in the fifth inning.

GAME TWO
Â
OIT needed just five innings to claim the run-rule win in the non-conference clash as they pounded out 17 hits and benefitted from seven Beacon errors. The visitors scored in every inning.

Sadie Birch did the most damage, hitting 4-for-4 with three runs, two RBI and a pair of doubles. Karly Leveque was 2-for-4 with a pair of runs and three RBI and Katie Virtue batted 3-for-4.

Kelly Scott (9-3) went the distance, allowing two runs on two hits while striking out four batters.
Â
Higbee and Daniels collected NCU's hits with Daniels posting her second double of the day.
Madi Jones (0-3) allowed eight runs (four earned) in 2.1 innings of work to take the loss for NCU.

Oregon Tech improves to 21-7 on the season including an 11-4 mark in the CCC, holding firm in third-place in the conference standings. The Beacons fall to 2-25 with a 2-13 record in conference games.

The Beacons hit the road next weekend for Ashland, taking on CCC leading and 17th-ranked Southern Oregon University in a four-game set. OIT returns home where they will play host to Carroll College.Â
