SALEM, Ore. - After playing the defending CCC champs to a 1-1 draw last week, the Northwest Christian University men's soccer team lost on Saturday, falling on the road to Corban University in CCC action, 5-0.
The loss drops NCU to 0-3-1 in conference play and 1-5-2 overall. Corban improves to 4-3-1 overall, 2-1-1 in the CCC.
The Beacons gave up three first-half goals as the Warriors scored in the 21st, 28th, and 40th minutes. They went on to add another goal in the 50th minute and tacked on another insurance score in the 62nd.
Corban finished the night out-shooting the Beacons 32-6 with an 8-1 advantage in shots-on-goal.

The Beacons will return home on Wednesday night to continue Cascade Collegiate Conference action against Warner Pacific at 6:00 pm.
