EVERETT, Wash. – Junior keeper Bren Bletscher (pictured) made 11 saves on Tuesday night to register his first collegiate shutout as the Beacons battled to a 0-0 with Trinity Lutheran College in non-conference NAIA action.
 
An intensely fought battle ended with an 11-10 advantage in shots-on-goal for the Eagles though neither team was able to break through with a score after 110 minutes of action.
 
Angel Sandoval and Sergio Maldonado led NCU with three shots-on-goal apiece.

Northwest Christian (1-1-1) will be back in action on September 18 when they travel to Portland to open Cascade Collegiate Conference action against Warner Pacific at 7:00 pm.
