Bushnell University

In his first season at the helm of the men's soccer program, Bentley turned around a program that had never won more than four wins in a season, guiding the Beacons to a seven-win season, including a record four wins in Cascade Collegiate Conference action. 

In 2012 he guided the women's soccer team to the biggest win in program history, a 1-0 overtime defeat of #1 ranked Concordia University-Portland.

Prior to coming to NCU, Bentley spent the previous two seasons as an assistant to both the men's and women's soccer teams at Corban College. 

He is also currently the Training Director and a head coach with the Keizer Soccer Club. Coach Bentley has been coaching competitive soccer for the past nine years, which included stints as the varsity boys soccer coach at Estrella Foothills HS in Goodyear, Ariz., and as the women’s assistant coach at Grand Canyon University. 

As a player, Bentley played for the Region IV Olympic Development Team, the University of California-Riverside, and Yavapai Junior College before finishing his Collegiate Career at Corban University. He spent three seasons playing for the Cascade Surge of the Premier Developmental League in the USL, one season in which he doubled as a player and coach. 

Bentley graduated from Corban College in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in psychology.

Bentley has also spent time living in Germany as a player and coach for the Athletes for Christ professional soccer ministry. He has taken numerous trips to Mexico, Canada, England and Austria as a player and soccer missionary.
