Colby Knutzen joined the Bushnell coaching staff as a graduate assistant prior to the 2025 season.

Knutzen played three years with the Beacons after transferring from Centralia College and ended his career as Bushnell's all-time leader for appearances (50) and saves (11), and also ranked third in school history for Earned Run Average.

Coach Knutzen graduated with a business degree in 2024.
