2012-2013: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in all six races for the Beacons as a freshman...set a personal record of 27:10 at the Warner Pacific Open on October 13th...took 51st place at the CCC Championship. TRACK - Ran a 4:12.95 in the 1500m at the John Knight Twilight on April 12th...qualified for the CCC championships in the Steeplechase...posted a best time in the event at 10:03.72 at the Willamette Invitational on April 6th...member of school-record setting 4x400m relay team.

High School Experience: Ran four years of cross country and track at Marshfield High for coach Doug Landrum...led Pirates to the 2010 and 2011 Midwestern League Championship in cross country...won the 2011 District Championship...in track, was the Midwestern League/District champion in the 1500m and took fifth place in state.

Personal: Born on September 13, 1993 in Whitefish, Mont...son of  Tacie and Bobby Hammond...enjoys art, video games, and hanging out with friends...likes movies and playing the guitar...aspires to become a physical therapist and have his own practice for low income families...majoring in Exercise Science.
