COMPLETE LIST OF NAIA SCHOLAR-TEAMS

EUGENE, Ore. – Tying the record set last season, 16 Bushnell NAIA athletic teams have been selected as National Scholar Teams, announced by the NAIA as part of National Awards Day on Monday. In addition, one team can claim their spot as an "Academic National Champion". 

All 16 eligible Bushnell University teams have been selected for the 2024-2025 season from among over 1400 total teams across the association. NAIA Institutions earn Scholar Team recognition for having a collective team GPA, including all players on the active roster, of at least 3.0.

Bushnell Men's Golf claims the highest GPA in the country for their sport with a 3.88 team GPA to earn "Academic National Champion" honors. The men were bested by the women's golf team, however, who hold a Bushnell-record 3.89 cumulative GPA. They were sixth in the country for women's golf but ranked #12 overall among all sports. Men's golf was ranked #14 among all sports. 

The golf programs were among six Bushnell teams to lead the Cascade Collegiate Conference in GPA, joining Volleyball (3.78), Beach Volleyball (3.69), Baseball (3.50), and Men's Soccer (3.42).  All 16 teams were ranked in the top-five in the CCC, with eight programs coming in at No. 1 or No. 2. 

In addition, a total of 11 teams were among the NAIA Top-40 for their sport with six ranked in the top-six.
