EUGENE, Ore. – A total of 28 current and former Beacon student-athletes walked across the stage on Friday at the Bushnell University Winter Commencement. It was a record number for the December ceremony.
Among the class of 2025 are 17 undergraduates and 11 who walked for the second time, earning Master's degrees.
Master of Arts degrees were bestowed upon Jaime Amaral (Men's Soccer), Alec Gums (Baseball), Sierra Janikowski (Track), Colby Knutzen (Baseball), Maggie McCausland (Women's Soccer) and Akiva Wickramaratna (Men's Soccer) while Master of Business Administration degrees were earned by Cade Crist (Baseball), Ariana Guerra (Volleyball), Kell Schwers (Men's Basketball), Reagan Walker (Beach Volleyball), and Jordan Wilson (Baseball).
Among the undergrads were six who earned academic honors. Cum Laude honorees, who have the distinction of graduating with a GPA of 3.50-3.69 were men's basketball player Roy Bunn and former baseball player Brendan Frazier. Earning Magna Cum Laude (3.70-3.89 GPA) were former cross country and track runners Mariah Anderson, Noely Flores Fonseca, and Noah Mancione while Summa Cum Laude honors were bestowed upon former baseball player Collin Medeiros.
