Miles Adkisson

Miles Adkisson became the Director of Bushnell Esports in 2019. Adkisson carries substantial knowledge on the competitive esports industry and comes with a background in recruiting and culture building. Everything he and his staff do revolves around Bushnell's tri-athlete model, which reflects a desire to see their players be great in the arena, in the classroom and around the community.

Adkisson quickly oversaw major growth in the program, developing an expansion in 2019-2020 that saw the addition of teams in League of Legends, Hearthstone, and Rocket League. Fortnite, Smash Bros, and Valorant were added in the 2020-21 season and the aggressive proliferation equated to a roster build up from seven to more than 20 competitors in just two years.

The Bushnell esports teams have seen plenty of early success with Adkisson coaching multiple All-NACE players and NACE Scholar-Athletes. The 2021 Fortnite team took fifth-place in the  NACE national championship.

Aside from his duties as Director of Esports, Adkisson also serves as the Director of Undergraduate Admissions. He has twice earned degrees from Bushnell himself, first as an undergraduate in 2016 and then with his Master in Business Administration in 2018. He and his wife, Kallie, live in Springfield, Ore and had their first child, Lincoln, in 2021.
