The tri-athlete model at Northwest Christian University reflects our desire to see student-athletes transform in all facets of life; on the field of play, in the classroom, and as Champions of Character, doing all in a Christ-Centered fashion.

Above all, we desire to give student-athletes the opportunity to forward their progress toward achieving a maturing identity in Christ. By encouraging the pursuit of excellence in the classroom and on the field of play, we desire for our students to honor the gospel of Christ.

The NCU Athletic Department's focus is on developing unity through Christ among our teams and all student-athletes. Faith, just like sports, is not a "solo" effort, but is meant to flourish in a community that will uphold and strengthen one another through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Through a multitude of service opportunities, we attempt to equip student-athletes to have a positive influence on their community both now and in the future. We exist so that every Beacon may be equipped to make a difference for Christ during his or her years at Northwest Christian University and his or her years as a servant of the Lord wherever that might lead.
